Erlend Wathne Oftedal

Erlend W. Oftedal brings application security and software delivery expertise as a developer, penetration tester, and security architect. He has trained teams in secure development and created open source security tools across multiple platforms and languages. At Crosspoint Labs, Erlend contributed to all value creation phases, focusing on due diligence and security testing for portfolio companies while implementing AI support systems. His career includes roles at Bekk Consulting, nSense, F-Secure, Blank, and Autodesk. Passionate about helping developers write secure code, he's led OWASP Oslo for 15+ years and speaks at conferences like JavaZone and NDC. He's a former 2x Bugcrowd MVP and holds an MS in Computer Science from NTNU. He enjoys football, running, and golf.
